Linux Making the impossible possible
is, without a doubt, the most customizable OS on the planet, unlike the alternatives, where you can customize the desktop experience to your
liking according to your needs. My current Linux station is based on lxde desktop environment (Archcraft) with low resource requirements.

This makes it especially suitable for use on older or resource-constrained personal computers. LXDE uses the now very dated GTK+ 2 library, is the lightest but it has a lot less features and is pretty bare bones, which makes it the perfect distro for those who want a bare system without useless programs that they will never use (if you want to create a beautiful painting you have to start from a blank sheet).
Currently the lead developer decided to switch to Qt instead. He combined his efforts with the RazorQt team to create LXQt in order to replace LXDE (good bullshit).
My system:
Thinkpad T430 with Archcraft LXDE (Kernel 6.3.5-arch1-1), [GTK2/3].
Acer Spin 3 with Endeavouros LXDE (Kernel 6.3.5-arch1-1), [GTK2/3].
